Standards in English Language Teaching and Assessment
March 10-12, 2004

The TESOL Arabia Proposals Committee is introducing a new type of professional development initiative this year. Two development courses will be part of the TACON 2004 Conference program.

The first will be an all-day Pre-Conference event on Standards Writing which will take place on Tuesday, March 9th, 2004. Facilitators for this certificate program include:

• Anne Katz
• Penny McKay
• Zeinab El-Naggar

The second will be a development course to take place during the conference. The theme of this development course will be on Professional Growth and Enhancement. Sessions for this course will take place during the conference and only those who have paid for the course will receive certificates (on the successful completion of five sessions). Paid course delegates will have seating priority over those who are not registered for the development course.
