Professional Growth and Enhancement Facilitator: Stepping Back Without Falling Over Putting together a Portfolio that provides evidence of 'Professional Growth and Advancement' does not necessarily mean that teachers have to seek out new challenges, or collect numerous certificates. Very often, the learning environment we work in will provide a rich source of areas for development - development that enriches the personal professional development of the individual and enhances and improves the learning environment they work in. In this workshop, we will consider how we can exploit areas of curriculum and assessment, the learning environment and wider professional development opportunities that promote personal professional development and how these can be presented in a portfolio that could be used for teacher assessment purposes.
