Abstract
This presentation will provide hands-on opportunities to develop your skills for presenting at a conference. Starting with topic selection, participants will be guided through organizing and rehearsing their presentations. The session will end with a reflection, including self-assessment, peer feedback and session organizer comments.
Biodata
Liz England enjoys a career in teaching, research and service in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Her recent teaching activities include the teaching of TEFL and TAFL methodology courses at AUC. In addition, her recent research includes the publication of a paper on technology applications in English language teaching in Egypt; and she is co-editor of a book on teaching Arabic as a second language. Liz is a newly elected member of the TESOL Board of Directors. A long-time resident and visitor to the Middle East, Liz England will provide participants in this session with a chance to develop skills as a TESOL professional presenter.
