Karen Asenavage
Biodata

Karen Asenavage is currently the supervisor of the General Business and IT Program for Year 2, at Al Ain Women's College. Prior to that she was the Supervisor of Bachelor of Education Program in Teaching English to Young Learners (B. Ed in TEYL) and Health Sciences at the Al Ain Women's Higher Colleges of Technology and the Coordinator of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) at the United Arab Emirates University. From 1995-1999, she served as President and past President of TESOL Arabia and is the current Young Learner SIG Co-Chair. She is active in TESOL and is a frequent presenter. Karen holds an MA in TESL, a BA in Biology/Chemistry and secondary teaching certification in Biology/Chemistry and All-Grade ESL. Her interests include curriculum development, assessment, teaching of reading, teacher training and leadership development.
